Cookie for breakfast? Count me in!

These baked oats were so dreamy and started my morning off so good. Even if you don’t like oatmeal, I can confidently say you will love these

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats

  • 1/2 banana or 1/3 cup applesauce

  • 1 Tbsp of chia or flax seed

  • 1/2 cup milk (may need to add more depending on thickness of batter)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder

  • cinnamon

  • 1 Tbsp honey or maple syrup

  • dash of sea salt

  • chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients into a blender or food processor until a batter forms

  2. Lightly spray an oven-safe dish with cooking spray and pour batter into the dish. Mix in chocolate chips.

  3. Cook at 400 F for 18 minutes

  4. After taking out of the oven, top with a protein icing drizzle!

Protein Icing:

  • 1/2 scoop protein powder

  • 2 Tbsp milk

  • 1/2 Tbsp honey or sweetener
