Cookie for breakfast? Count me in!
These baked oats were so dreamy and started my morning off so good. Even if you don’t like oatmeal, I can confidently say you will love these
Ingredients:
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 banana or 1/3 cup applesauce
1 Tbsp of chia or flax seed
1/2 cup milk (may need to add more depending on thickness of batter)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
cinnamon
1 Tbsp honey or maple syrup
dash of sea salt
chocolate chips
Directions:
Add all ingredients into a blender or food processor until a batter forms
Lightly spray an oven-safe dish with cooking spray and pour batter into the dish. Mix in chocolate chips.
Cook at 400 F for 18 minutes
After taking out of the oven, top with a protein icing drizzle!
Protein Icing:
1/2 scoop protein powder
2 Tbsp milk
1/2 Tbsp honey or sweetener
