As a family of six, we love a build your own bowl kind of night. With different food preferences, it becomes hard trying to please everyone’s taste buds! This is such a quick and easy meal that will make everyone happy because they can choose what they want to add!
Base: We all love couscous, but other options include orzo, pasta, quinoa, lettuce, or rice!
Protein: The two options we had were steamed shrimp and grilled chicken. You could also do steak or salmon!
Veggies: I steamed broccoli, roasted cauliflower, and made a homemade Mediterranean salad
Sauces: tzatziki sauce and hummus! Cedar’s Foods has good options for both of these!
Mediterranean Salad Recipe
1 cucumber
1 orange bell pepper
1 yellow bell pepper
Tricolor cherry tomatoes
Pitted black olives
Can of chickpeas
Salt and pepper
2 Tbsp olive oil
2 Tbsp white wine vinegar
1 Tbsp Italian dressing
